Each decade requires specific beauty care and this is never more true than when we get older. We are finally reaching the last part of our skincare series and have gathered all the beauty tips to help you look fabulous if you are entering your 60’s.
Reassess your beauty routine
Your skin’s structure changes quite significantly in your 60s and with wrinkles and dark spots, comes dryness and sensitivity. Check out our little beauty guide for mature skin, which will help you address and embrace any visible signs of ageing.
Focus on the right areas
The eyes and lips are usually the first areas to be targeted by fine lines and wrinkles. While we can’t wish them away entirely, here are a few tricks to make lines and spots smoother and less prominent. First, always keep your skin hydrated by applying anti-ageing eye and lip contour creams such as the Madara Hemp Hemp lip balm and the Supermood Beauty Sleep Youth Restoring eye serum. Then, apply a light and illuminating under-eye concealer to correct darkness and hyperpigmentation.
Go lighter with makeup
If you are trying to achieve a flawless complexion with a very thick foundation, you’ll probably achieve the the opposite effect: pale-looking skin and wrinkles that appear more pronounced. Swap your current foundation for one that is really light, quickly absorbed, and that provides just the right amount of coverage. Add a touch of soft pink blusher to restore glow and then apply your light concealer under the eye. The operative word being light. Finally, groom your eyebrows and there we go: that’s what we call beautifying your age with style!
Cherish your hair
Whether you still color your hair or not is entirely up to you, either way you should continue to invest in the right kind of hair care products to keep your locks looking lustrous.. Unfortunately grey hair tends to be dry, coarse, and more difficult to manage. To restore moisture, shine, and achieve a silkier texture, we highly recommend the Less is More Rose serum – the ultimate hair oil that nourishes, balances, and revitalizes.
